How often can I see my therapist?

Therapy is a process that is unique to each client and the challenges they are presenting with. Some presenting issues can be worked on very effectively in a fairly short period of time (10-20 sessions). Other challenges may take much longer. It can be difficult to predict exactly how long therapy will last and this is best discussed in your first session. We will discuss a treatment plan and goals that you will be working toward.

Most clients see their therapist for a single one-hour session per week. They may see the therapist less often as the need diminishes. You may schedule a counseling appointment more than once per week if needed and this should be discussed with your therapist.
